Well how have you all been? Ive been hanging in there. Recent hospital visit from an alergic reaction has me on an inhailer now, oddly enough to a vaccination Im suggested to get for my vet tech classes/clinicals/career...oh well.
Speaking of classes im keeping up a good score, i beleive i have a overal score of 82% in the program? its hard for me to read the grade sheet but theres nothing below 82% so i guess thats good lel. My clinical rotations are kinda fun at times, i get to give shots and hold animals for procedures...though today I had to hold one for euthinasia which broke my heart but it was part of the job ya know..just having a animal die in my arms kills me inside though but i was talking to it and petting and loving on him to let him know it was ok ;v; but...yea
Its alot of cleaning...lots of surgical tools and floors and cages and LAUNDRY OH GOD ALL THE LAUNDRY...

So ive been like, MIA and quiet lately which is due to a few reasons~
So my workplace is falling to pieces, the place is like..falling appart, so my hours are skewed, im working 9-11 hour shifts 5-6 days a week and im burning out fast. I was getting very depressed and wasnt taking care of myself as well as i should have. But im sure things will get better in the future, I just have to wait it out.
I recently got a boyfriend! Which is a very welcome surprise. going on 3 weeks now strongly and each day seems to just..get better and better being with him, hes been a major help on my mental health by just having positive vibes, its a nice feeli

An allergic reaction to a vaccine you must get as a vet? That's like being a sailor who gets seasick! I'm awful sorry to hear about this allergy; hopefully you guys can figure out an alternative.
Seriously, I am so, so proud of you for doing such a good service. It's clear that you're passionate about the field and the animals you work with, and I'm happy you're getting some hands-on experience. Having to see death is one of the worst parts of the medical field, but it's so fulfilling to get to help others out. You're doing a good job, Bassy, so keep doing your best. <33
